Health information belongs in the brief
Share pregnancy, recent surgery or injury, medication affecting bruising, allergies, skin conditions and areas to avoid before the appointment. Postpone for fever, contagious skin conditions, a hot and swollen area or a fresh injury. Sharp pain, numbness, dizziness or worsening symptoms are reasons to stop and seek appropriate medical advice, not to request stronger pressure.
